Smoother water flow. Quieter pumps. Longer pump life. The Fiamma A20 is a compact expansion/accumulator tank that fits on the pressure side of your 12V water pump to eliminate pulsation, absorb water hammer, and deliver a steady, constant flow at the tap. At just 0.3 kg, it’s an easy upgrade with a big impact on comfort.

Why add the A20?
  • Eliminates pulsation – stops the on/off “surging” you feel at the tap.

  • Constant, even flow – smoother showers and quicker washing-up.

  • Quieter system – reduces pump chatter and pipe vibration.

  • Protects your plumbing – cushions pressure spikes (water hammer).

  • Extends pump life – fewer rapid cycles means less wear and lower power draw.

  • Compact & lightweight – easy to place close to the pump in tight lockers.

Compatibility
  • Works with all common 12V diaphragm pumps in campervans, motorhomes, caravans and boats (e.g., Fiamma, Shurflo, Whale).

  • Installs in-line on the pressure side (outlet) of the pump.

  • Suits standard flexible hose systems; adapters can be used for push-fit plumbing.

How it works

An internal air chamber sits behind a diaphragm. As the pump runs, the A20 stores a little pressure and then feeds it back, smoothing out flow, reducing cycling, and absorbing shocks when taps open/close.

Tech specs
  • Product: Fiamma A20 Expansion Tank

  • Function: Accumulator/expansion tank for 12V water systems

  • Weight: 0.3 kg

  • Mounting orientation: Any (upright recommended if space allows)

  • Connections: For standard camper hose (use appropriate barbed or push-fit adapters to match your system)

What’s included
  • Fiamma A20 expansion tank

  • Basic fitting guidance

Installation notes
  • Fit as close as practical to the pump outlet (between pump and first tap/tee).

  • Keep hose runs short and supported; avoid tight bends.

  • Use suitable adapters and clamps for a leak-free connection.

  • After installation, run water and check for leaks, then test flow at low and high openings.

Care & use
  • Periodically check clamps and hoses for tightness.

  • If you notice new pulsation after a long period, inspect for trapped air or partially blocked strainers and clean as needed.

FAQ's

Are Fiamma products universal?

No — Fiamma products are model-specific. Always check the technical sheet and compatibility notes before buying. Our blog and product guides explain the key differences between F45, F80, and other models.

How long does delivery take for Fiamma products?

Most items are dispatched the same day if ordered before 2pm (Mon–Fri). Standard UK delivery is 2–3 working days with tracking provided.

Can I return a Fiamma product if it doesn’t fit?

Yes — unused items can be returned within 60 days. Please keep all packaging intact and delivery information, so we can re-process your return smoothly.

Do I need extra brackets or adapters with this Fiamma product?

Some vehicles require a specific fitting kit or bracket (especially for awnings, bike racks and roof rails). If a kit is needed, we’ll highlight it in the product description.

Do you sell fitting kits and adapters?

Yes — many Fiamma products require a specific fitting kit or adapter depending on your vehicle make and model. Where possible, we’ll show the correct kit directly on the product page or under Accessories. If you’re unsure, use our Kit Finder tool to check compatibility with your campervan, motorhome or caravan — it’s the quickest way to make sure you order the right setup.

How do I measure my awning to choose the right Privacy Room or panel?

Check the awning series (F45, F80, Caravanstore, etc.) and the length/code on the product badge. Measure the awning case length and floor-to-awning height to pick the correct size.

Can I collect from you?

Collection can be arranged on request for most items — and often saves you delivery fees — check the product page to see if the item is available or contact support.

Why choose Fiamma over other brands?

Fiamma products are designed in Italy, with TÜV-approved safety standards and long-lasting materials. They’re known across Europe for quality, reliability, and compatibility with motorhomes and campervans.
